AJARTISAN

AJARTISAN is the evolution of what began in 1949 with AJAR Appliances started by my grandfather (first generation american) Salvatore DiGiacomo in Brooklyn, NY. After 31 years of selling and servicing home appliances, the company was passed on to my father, Joseph DiGiacomo who continued to provide these services to the community for almost two more decades. AJAR Appliances closed its doors in 1998 after the untimely passing of my father. 

After a little over a decade in 2009, I decided to start my own chapter in homage of my grandfather and father to open AJAR painting. Aided by my mentor who helped me develop my unique skills to modernize a home.

For 10 years we carried on the AJAR legacy by providing painting, home improvements & restoration services. 5 Years ago, based on customer demand, we concentrated our services on the Artisan (skilled crafts involving making things by hand) work leading to the creation of AJARTISAN. We are proud to take over 70 years and three generations of our family to help bring a custom home to each and every one of our new and existing clients.
